Apart from writing, recording, mixing, mastering, and publishing the song myself; I also created the entirety of the media/marketing materials presented here.

The official artwork that was chosen was a public domain image I found that caught my attention because of the child that was covering his face + the table cloth had the song title “happy birthday” written on it. I was trying to imagine what I could do to the artwork that would cause the child to be covering their face, and came up with the idea that the photograph of this birthday was being burned, and somehow one of the children was aware of this and covering his face. This also fit into the paranoia theme of the song. Other alternative artwork concepts created around the idea of a sinister birthday party or a birthday party with some form of death or paranoia as an element are shown here as well.
